Biography

I am AKM Kamruzzaman, a tourism and travel industry professional, entrepreneur, trainer, and educator with practical experience across multiple areas of the tourism and travel business.

I am the Founder & CEO of Travel Trip BD, an Online Travel Agency (OTA) providing air ticketing, holiday packages, Umrah services, hotel booking, visa support, corporate travel management, and MICE services. Through my hands-on involvement in the travel industry, I have developed practical knowledge of travel agency operations, tourism products, customer service, travel business management, and the day-to-day realities of working in the tourism industry.

I also serve as Vice President of the Bangladesh Outbound Tour Operators Association (BOTOA), where I am involved in the development of Bangladesh's outbound tourism industry and engage with tourism stakeholders, travel businesses, and industry professionals.

As an instructor at Tourism Training, my goal is to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical industry skills. I believe tourism education should not only teach learners what tourism is, but also help them understand how the industry actually works and how they can apply their knowledge in real-world situations.

My areas of expertise include Tourism Fundamentals, Travel Agency Operations, Tour Operations, Tourism Business Management, Air Ticketing, Visa Services, Umrah Operations, Tourism Marketing, Travel Product Development, and the broader Travel & Tourism Industry.

Through Tourism Training, I aim to contribute to building a more skilled, knowledgeable, and professional tourism workforce in Bangladesh. I want to make quality, industry-focused education accessible to students, aspiring tourism professionals, entrepreneurs, and people already working in the travel and tourism sector.
